Thoughts after looking out my front door this morning

Snow, Snow, Snow: A Dialogue

"I'm tired, I'm tired of winter snow,
I'm tired of snow, I'm tired - let's go
to bask beneath the warm sun's glow
where zephyrs soft and gentle blow
and green the leaves and grasses grow."

"You cannot leave the winter so,
You cannot leave, O don't you know,
So watch the soft white fall of snow
and plan your garden til you know
that after winter spring will glow.

"And it won't be long, I'm sure, you know
That you'll be complaining about the heat."
