Thanks for the information. So sad that someone so talented could be taken so young. I will always remember her as a funny, vibrant, passionate young woman. We miss you, Kim.
thanks sue, i saw in the FB group, i cried but i couldn't wrap my head around it until i saw that. i stay up nights and we would pm occasionally. this is closure, devastating but i needed something.
I hear ya. I saw the news, cried, googled to see if I could find out anything, read her fb and her twitter, spent the night listening to classical baroque music, and decided someone needed to post something to LJ today, so I did.
That's awful!! I talked with her over e-mail on occasion. She was writing something that intrigued me and we more or less had an inside joke because I'd ask her about it every year if she was going to finish it.
I never know what to do in these situations. Are there any plans for a tribute? Either raising money for funeral costs, sending flowers, finishing her stories, or a bunch of authors getting together to write something in her honor? Count me in for anything plans.

Kim was such wonderful woman. She beta'd for me for a long time, sharing her knowledge with me, and encouraging me as a writer.
She spent so much time teaching me grammer and punctuation, daring me into writing so many stories and I absolutly loved sharing that with her.
We became fast friends, and talked nearly every night for a long time. We'd bounce ideas back and forth- and she always had a dare ready for me to tackle, lol.

I just emailed her not last week and sent her a CD with the Avengers on it.
It doesn't even seem real.
