Oh, the next few weeks will be crazy: 4 medical visits: followup on my diabetes, gyno, for one of the quarterly paps I will be having for the next 2 1/2 years, where the doc will fuss at me for not yet having a mammogram, but maybe be pleased that I've lost a nice bit of weight since he saw me last; followup with my shoulder surgeon and then the mammogram which I finally scheduled today, but which had a waiting list and I got the first available appointment, 3 weeks out...but after running the gauntlet of all of that madness,
I finally get to do my Oregon Coast vacation!
We will be going to Baker City to check out the Oregon Trail Interpretation Center, Astoria because this is their bicentenial year, and we wanted to, Heceta Head Lighthouse before they close it down for reservations, and other cool things. Still planning the cool things to see. Will definitely have camera in hand, and we have no real time issues; it'll probably take us 2 to 2 1/2 weeks doing everything.
I have been so looking forward to this trip. Been put off 3 times already. There will be camping and some light hiking and maybe some useless shopping and other touristy behaviors. Really excited!
