But first there was my news to read (that's good for at least a hour or two. I am srs info junkie. Then a person I beta wrote back and showed me how she broke through her block after we discussed some techniques, and she had done a good job. Later, she and I chatted for a while on FB. Then another friend who is just starting to use LJ needed some explanation, which I was happy to give about how to get started with finding people and comms, and then I found out that I got a Daily Lit Deviation feature at dA for one of my poems (that makes the 4th. It's always nice to know someone thinks your writing is worth noticing!) which made me happy and sent me off to chat with a dear friend who had been out of town for a while, and then there was hubby and son to help...
Well, looks like I'm fated to be an afternoon/evening writer.
Long as I am, that probably means hubby's gonna be the primary supper cook. That's just the way the world works.
But I will be doing my writing on my other system, so maybe if I just plug in Write or Die, I can get started with some serious copy. It's one of my best techniques for getting settled down.
Of course, it's just sitting behind me. If I need a break, I can turn around and check out twitter....LOL.
Time to peel away.
