Ah, what a Christmas present...

Results back from my MRI.  In the words of the nurse,  I have "torn tendons" in my shoulder.

Therefore, she's getting the surgeon my physical therapist recommended to schedule an appointment.

I expected surgery, and I even know what the rehab's going to be like.  Heck, I already know a lot of the exercises my therapist is going to put me through,  because they'll be similar to what I was doing for my bicep tendon problem, so I'm not upset, but I was hoping it was just bone spurring.

But if I can get back to kayaking and weight lifting, this will make me happy.

Oh that's awesome! I'm so glad it wasn't something too horrible. I tore a tendon in my knee before and it is not a fun thing to do! Hope you feel well and Happy Holidays!

Then let's look past all the negative to next summer when you'll be gently kayaking and lifting light weights. :)

Sorry about the surgery. At least you will have lots of time to play board games this winter.

Ouch! That must have hurt when you torn them, KK! I've torn a ligament in my foot & that was really painful. ^^; I hope you can avoid the surgery. *huggles* If not, I wish you a speedy recovery! *more huggles* So good luck when you meet woith the surgeon!

I don't even know when it happened...although it's possible to get bone spurs and have them do the tearing bit by bit. Well, we'll see what he can do...my physical therapist I used for a related problem says the doc I'm going to is the one he thinks does the best work, and he would know...

Oh... I guess it's possible it's damage over time then, if you cna't remember how you did it. That's good. I hope it's something easily fixed. *huggles*
