Poem: Of Circles and Salt

Poetry muse keeps playing with forms....this was different...

Lissome
my touch
underneath the moonlight,
delicately tracing
circles
and curves.

Salty
your skin
wrapped in midnight shadow --
I taste you once
and then
taste you again.

Ragged
my breathing --
I cannot keep eyes open
sinking deeply
into
sensation.

Wordless
your cry --
reaching the peak,
we fall back
breathless
into the night.

Yummy. May I recommend you send this to Clean Sheets? They are always looking for good poetry. They don't pay, but it's a nice item on the publishing resume. Link: http://www.cleansheets.com/submit/submit.shtml

Why thank you ma'am...I thought you might enjoy it. And I took you up on your suggestion.

Yay! I hope they publish it. I love that site, especially the exotica section. I've published two stories with them that have gone on to be published in "Best of" type collections. I like that their turn-around is quick and the editors, in my experience, are nice!
