(including the food storage) is it lets you know what you tend to overshop for...why in the heck to I have so many cans of green beans, mushroom soup, and Lipton's Golden Onion soup mix?  Onion soup with green bean cassorole on the side, I guess... And lots and lots of cranberry sauce on sweet pancakes for dessert.

I have more turnip/mustard/kale/collard greens than I will ever, ever eat.

I can't get the type of canned turnip greens I like up here...and I grow my own mustard greens. The extras we dehydrate...got a lot still from last season, cause I didn't make enough soup this winter...

before i went whole/natural/organic i used to use onion soup mix on roasts and as flavoring for any number of things-- you can even use it for soup. *0*

the mushroom soup can be used to make tuna noodle casserole (i haven't had that in decades-- *developing a craving*) or some chicken slow cooker recipes...

i have never used cranberry sauce in cans, always used fresh ground with apples, oranges, sugar and i think walnuts.

I actually use onion soup a lot for soup! but sort of like soup stock...I flavor my beans with it, and occasionally use it to flavor meat...and we have a whole range of things we cook that use mushroom soup.

Hubby likes pork chops smothered in mushroom soup, too...so we do that once in a while. He also likes canned cranberry sauce, so we always had some on hand...I just didn't know how much. LOL.

That's all right...Anybody wants to read or talk poetic stuff with me is perfectly ok....

I actually use broth and all those other things more than you realize...I just didn't realize how much I had stocked up! LOL.
