Moan, wail, weep....

I've caught up with Kuroshitsuji, and I have to wait for the next chapter....

And what a cliffie, too....

Rail, throw things, temper tantrum....sigh.

And it's all Talon's fault for tempting me to peek the other day when she railed about needing the next chapter...LOL.

I'm glad you've been enjoying the manga! It's definitely a fun read. I am positive that it's all an act on Sebastian's part. The pre-planning with the servants was definitely an indication of this, but it will be interesting to see what happens when and if his body suddenly ...returns from the dead? There certainly were enough witnesses there. We'll see what happens next month! ^^

I'm amazed how much it's held my attention. I devoured it. Most manga just can't do that. I know, for instance, if I was reading Rinne after the fact, instead of week by week, I would have drifted off long before now.

Of course it's a setup...the question is, is Ciel in on it? And something about that owl....And why does this section remind me so much of an Agatha Christie novel?

Ciel may be in on it, he may not. You can never really tell these things because he always plays it so cool.. and he's such a good actor, but I dunno. I don't think he does know about it this time (with the whole "I order you to get up" business, I don't think Ciel would have said that if he had known).

It'll be interesting to see if Sebastian is playing a trick on Ciel as well as on the others, and if he is acting without Ciel's knowledge, how Ciel will take it. Of course, then there is the eternal question of why Sebastian would do something like that for Ciel without his Master's knowledge. What's his motive? And again, the ramifications of his playing dead for an audience could be pretty significant. Could Sebastian be in for a change of body?

I'd say that pretty much any similarity to an Agatha Christie novel would be completely deliberate.

I bet Sebastian is taking himself out of the picture so he can catch the killer.
