ACK....I got kidnapped tonight by a stupid stupid game called clashing cubes.  I KNOW better than to even start playing a game like that.  I forget to blink.  I forget to move.  all I do is play the pretty game until I hit yet another game over and start again.

KK is an obsessive gamer. So much so it's game or have a life...LOL. I really rather write...the games swallow me up!

You're welcome! *giggles* I'm not one for gaming, but I've been known to spend an hour or 2 trying to get the eggies I want over at DC dragons. ;p

Uh, oh! Never thought that Sweet Sue would befall into such a muddle-trap.

That's the reason why I don't play any type of game.....except for board games. At least there, I can kick some serious butt, & then put it to the side when we're tired of it.

Good luck, KK!

Have you ever play Othello? OMG that game is my favorite. It's so easy to learn I taught my 8 year old nephew how to play. He immediately proceeded to kick my but on his first game. You should check it out. :)

Actually I have. Several times when my kids were still at home. My oldest, Melanie was pretty damned good and would always kick here dad's butt at it. When she moved out, she took the game with her and now plays with her daughter.

From what I've been told, Méryka is almost as good as her Mom.

Is that the one on Facebook? I'm already wrapped up in YoVille, FarmVille, Mafia Wars and Vampire Wars. Those are bad enough! Besides, I have BookWorm Deluxe, Chuzzle, spider Solitaire, Ultimate Mahjongg 5 and Zuma Deluxe on my notebook in case I can't get internet or I'm in a writing slump. That in itself is pure evil. I sure don't need pretty, flashing boxes.

Found it on twitter...not sure if it's on facebook, but it was too addicting for me to play often. Too dangerous for my time! LOL. The only game I let myself unwind with is a little shoot'em up game called Snood. And not too often!

I can't get sucked into some of those games. Before I know it I haven't moved from my desk all day and my dog is doing the pee-pee dance!

For me, Oblivion is a huge time sink.

You can stop playing! Just get up and take a break. The game will still be there.
Jul. 26th, 2009 03:26 pm (UTC)
But I forget that I can when I am playing...LOL. Nothing matters but the game...
Jul. 26th, 2009 04:03 pm (UTC)
Uh-oh! Don't get addicted. Maybe you should stay away from that game. I love to get wrapped up in playing games (or reading, or whatever) but you need to be able to pause to eat & interact with the world! Haha.

This is why I am very disciplined when it comes to gaming. Usually. LOL.

I remember you telling me you don't play online games for the very reason you gave here! You forget to blink, to move, etc...So I never thought you would even try one again! LOL!

My son is addicted to online videogames - so much so my Mom has to download and buy them. Only ting is, if he gets frustrated he calls for me to help him...

Right now he is obsessed with playing Ricochet Infinity. It has a kids setting, but really he is good enough to play the adult one on easy.
