Breakfast Time One July
The dawn light filtered through the window, lightly touching the couple stretched out on the futon, but not reaching the baby sleeping in a wicker basket. It was already promising to be a hot and sticky day.
The woman was lying on her stomach, nude against the heat. The sheets lay crumpled at the base of the futon. The silver-haired man lying next to her flicked one ear as his mouth planted warm opened-mouth kisses down the line of his black-haired partner’s spine, while his hands outlined the soft curves of her waist and hips.
“Uhm,” Kagome said, not yet fully awake.
InuYasha moved back up her body and planted kisses along her shoulder blade. Moving her raven hair out of the way, his mouth kissed the curve of her neck as his hand slid and captured her breast, which weighed heavily in his hand.
“Feels good,” she muttered.
“Wanna wake up?” he asked, breathing into her ear.
She rolled over on her back and fluttered her blue-gray eyes. “Maybe. What time is it?”
He drifted a hand along the outside of her thigh. “Breakfast time.”
She laughed a little as he rolled her towards him. “You want me to make you some breakfast?”
“Naw, he said. His lips brushed gently against hers, a short kiss that promised more. “I’d rather eat you.”
“Sounds good to me,” she told him, smiling wickedly as she pulled him closer by his forelock, until their lips touched again. “Just don’t wake the baby. Otherwise, you get to cook the rice.”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” he said. “But what if you wake him up?”
She ran her fingers down his back, cupping the tight muscles of his buttock. “I’m sure you’ll think of something.”
Kagome wasn’t sure she liked his answering smile.
