Foreheads together in a gentle touch
Her hand on his, his fingers holding tight
Shutting out the world that asks too much
For them to share a minute of their night.
He brings a single finger to her lip,
She tilts her head to look into his eyes
Gives a gentle kiss to fingertip,
Then happily she smiles at him and sighs.
Amber eyes and blue gaze lovingly
Curtained in locks of white and ebony.
Drove hubby crazy writing this. "Be quiet!" I said. "I can't get the rhyme right if you keep talking!"
It's true. Word music in my head is so easily disrupted
