I'd say that qualifies as deep south! but I can't imagine what it would be like in Utah...

And I see we share similar tv habits. I still love Futurama, too, even if I've seen them all I'm not sure how many times...

Utah is an interesting place. Non-Mormons probably wouldn't be as happy in mostly mormon towns as they would be in bigger communities like Ogden and Salt Lake. People, though, are friendly as a whole. One thing is people react more strongly, and if they don't want to be mistaken as Mormon, may go further out of their way in looks and behaviors to make it clear that they are different.

Scenery's gorgeous, air quality isn't the best. And we had way more snow than I like where I lived. But now I am in Boise, where it's calmer weather, less snow, no salt lake alkalai, and the altitude is lower. Still got mountains, and after living most of my life in New Orleans, mountains matter to me! LOL

I just remember one friend being out there for a short time for something. He was a coffee junkie, and whereever he was, he had a really hard time finding any. He couldn't wait to come home.

For some reason, I thought it'd be really cold in Idaho in the winter... certainly compared to somewhere like New Orleans! My brother goes up there somewhere to hunt once a year, and I know he takes his warm clothes with him when he goes.

Counting on where you are, it can hard to find a coffee house, but there's a lot more coffee drinking than you would suspect...I always did grind it yourself coffee, and always had a selection of beans to buy...

But Boise is coffee drinker heaven
