Poem 27: Watching in the Moonlight

I/K.  Guess I couldn't let a day go by without some IK fluff.....27th Napowrimo poem.

Watching in the Moonlight

You do not know
how often  I have watched you in the moonlight,
standing straight
and tall
and feral,
a force of power,
your red turned almost to black,
and your silver hair,
streaming in shadow and light
an eldritch sign of your power.

Caught between the human
and the magical,
you stand there,
restless
uncertain,
and I feel your need
echoing in the midnight breeze.

Come to bed, love,
let me wrap you with the magic
that flows just between
you and I,
and in that magic spell,
let me help you find your peace.
