One last revision of the Youkai InuYasha poem

Put Kagome solidly in the poem...dark, like a good vampire story.

Disclaimer:  I do not own InuYasha or any of its characters.

Youkai InuYasha

You stand there, waiting,
Watching how from terror comes fire,
Watching how from deadly pain
comes a bloody desire.

He wears his strength like a shield,
Burning hot in the night.
Do you swallow hard,
Seeing his youki so bright
Wrapped in fine skin and silver hair,
An eldritch sight
Otherworldly eyes, red coals
Hot with burning light.
buring into you soul?

Adorned with the knowledge
Of lightly reigned in fire,
He sees and smiles,
Red heat desire,
He moves swifter than you think
Blood red warrior dire,
Death and life intertwined
Heartbeat's drum no liar,
the song he sings in your blood.

Sardonic passion in his step --
How graceful each motion.
A kiss of hot red death perhaps,
Or life, your heart's commotion
O Kagome, caught in his call,
Hunger.like a potion
Bleeds into a a conflagration
Firestorm red the notion.

Look into those eyes  --
This is it.
Bare your throat,
Submit.

Prepare to bleed
