I suspect it's a trial balloon to see what type of reaction they'd get, but hell, a person is injured doing service for the country, the country owes him or her care for his or her injury.

There's been a lot of talk about perhaps raising the cost of insurance to enlisted persons and vets, both, (here's an example of the talk going around) but I figured that was just chatter about ideas the Congressional Budget Office was floating around. It's their job to play with ideas.
