A pic of my WIP and notes....

Here's a pic of the unspun fiber, a ball of finished yarn and the first inch and a half of my project:

The white threads on the unspun wool are something I picked up on the table where I took the pic. I think they're off some muslin my husband used there to clean his gun. It's really his work table, not mine.

Unless you're really into knitting you can ignore the knitting jargon below. This is the pattern I'm working up, and I don't want to forget what I did today.

Gauge: 6-7 spi on 00 needles

cast on 68. row 1, k across. row 2, p across. repeat rows 1 and 2. row 5-11 k across. row 12: k across needle 1 until 3 stitches remain, psso, k1. needle 2: k1, k2tog, k across until the last 3 stitches on needle, psso, k1. Needle 3 k1, k2tog, knit across.

Intentions: K across until one inch more done, then repeat row 12.
