KK with Kanji

Putzing around in the historical costume realm...

I was having great fun looking at a page from the Costume Museum, a  Japanese site that has some great illustrations in English of Japanese costume from various eras, and looking at the time that InuYasha takes place.

A fun site for reenactors who want to portray Japanese characters.  It's aimed at the heian period, but has  some interesting links:

And this is another great SCA site with pictures, how tos, and other info for people interested in the Sengoku Jidai.  And you get the fun of seeing a lot of blond folks running around in medieval Japanese garb.  It is a good site for info, though
