Lifting my head up from the dusty study of Sengoku Jidai economics

(and yes, that is what I really am researching this afternoon,  the rise of markets, guilds, and how the merchant class managed to break away from the aristocracy and the temples and other such dry, but to my perverse mind, fascinating facts,)
