Poem: Intermezzo

Yellow patches bloom
on the mountainside today.
How fast they have moved
from brilliant green to brown drab,
as spring wends its way
into summer's early warmth.
Yesterday's white snow
overflows the river's banks
leaving, as it flows
bright streaks of yellow blossoms
before the lightning
leaves fire on the mountainside.
and smoke perfumed air.

Very, very touching. As always, you truly know how to touch someone very deeply.
